An Amsterdam institution. Pucinni's bonbons are large, unapologetically generous and rotate by season. Their tamarind, gin and lemongrass bonbons are local favourites. Worth the queue.
Technically a cookie shop, but the cookie is a warm dark-chocolate-filled disc that belongs in any chocolate guide. One product, made all day, served warm. Cash-light queue moves fast.
Old-school Belgian-style pralines in a tearoom that hasn't changed since the 1970s. Best for sit-down hot chocolate with a small assortment box.
Mass-market by Amsterdam standards but worth visiting for the bar customisation station and the campaign behind the brand. Family-friendly, good for groups.
