We work in a small atelier where multiple chocolates are made on the same bench. Cross-contamination is possible. The information below is what we tell every customer with a dietary question — if you need more detail about a specific piece, ask us at the counter.
Many of our pralines and bonbons contain hazelnut, almond or pistachio. All nut-containing pieces are clearly labelled in the box and on the shop counter. The atelier handles nuts daily, so even nut-free pieces are made in a facility that uses nuts.
Yes. All our dark single-origin bars (Madagascar, Vietnam, Venezuela, Tanzania) are vegan. We also offer a rotating selection of vegan truffles made with oat-cream ganache.
All single-origin bars are naturally gluten-free. Most truffles and pralines are gluten-free; the exceptions (anything with biscuit or wafer) are clearly labelled.
Cocoa mass, cocoa butter, sugar. That is the entire ingredient list. We do not use lecithin, vanillin or any stabilisers.
We buy single-origin couverture from farm-direct partners in Madagascar, Vietnam, Venezuela, Ecuador and Tanzania. We rebuy from the same farms each year so the lineage is traceable.
Two of our origin partnerships are formally Fairtrade-certified; the others are direct-trade with documented above-fair-trade pricing. We can share traceability sheets for any single-origin bar on request.
Our dark single-origin bars are made from ingredients that are commonly considered halal and kosher, but we do not currently hold formal certification for either. We are working on it for 2026.
