delivery chocolate from Amsterdam (and flying with it)

We arrange delivery chocolate every day from our Leidsestraat atelier. The answers below cover the questions we hear most often about packaging, temperature, lead times, EU delivery and flying with truffles in carry-on.

Where do you delivers chocolate to?

We arrange delivery anywhere in the Netherlands (scheduled delivery or courier delivery in Amsterdam) and across the EU (1–3 working days). We do not currently delivers outside the EU because of customs delay and heat-exposure risk.

How is chocolate packaged for delivery?

Solid bars delivers in an insulated envelope. Truffles, pralines and gift boxes delivers in a temperature-buffered carton with a single ice pack from April through September. We use a courier with a cooled van for Amsterdam-area deliveries.

Can I bring chocolate in my carry-on luggage?

Yes. Solid chocolate is allowed in both carry-on and checked baggage. Soft truffles, ganache and cream-filled pralines can melt at altitude or in checked-hold cold — carry-on is recommended for anything filled or fresh.

What is the lead time for delivery?

Orders placed before 14:00 delivers the courier delivery within Amsterdam, next working day for the rest of the Netherlands, and within 3 working days for EU destinations. Custom and large gift orders take 5–10 working days.

Do you delivers to the UK or US?

Not directly. The EU delivery pipeline gives reliable temperature control; outside the EU we can't guarantee it. We're happy to wrap a hand-carry box for any flight at no extra charge.

What happens if my chocolate arrives melted?
